same position

I am in the same position. I found out three weeks ago that my husband was having an affair with a girl he went to school with whom he looked up on Facebook. They started talking and this happened. We have been married 21 years and the marriage has never been a good one. We have two kids. I kicked him out and it's like he replaced us with a new family. I cannot get over the fact that he did it and how he could sleep every night next to me. I am dwelling on it to the point of like you no eating and the only way I sleep is by taking Ativan. On the other hand I feel guilty for kicking him out. I wonder what he is doing over at her house which was the first house he went to when I kicked him out and he just moved right in with her. My kids are acting normal which scares me. When will this stop????

stop!!

Both of you are going through a struggle unsurpassed by probably any other. You're both beating yourself up as well. My wounds are only 3 weeks old and I was married 6 years to a woman who I cared for and adored. I also helped support her 2 kids from her first marriage when their father wouldn't . Like any other couple we had our ups and downs. However in the last 2 months I started seeing "signs", Feb. 15th she moved out and moved tho her parents, leaving her daughter(my stepdaughter) with me. Now my soon to be ex has a new friend and we haven't even filed speration papers and her daughter still lives with me while she is living with her parents and looking for a new place and spending time with her friend.

Stop beating yourself up, eat someting and take care of yourself. Don't let this break you. Pick yourself up and dust yourself off, you both deserve better. Take a deep breath. Change your routine. Garden, join a non-profit orginization, do something to ease your mind of what's going on. Joining a non-profit orginization will help immensely in showing you that you are worth it.

Above all, stop beating yourself up and STAY STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
